Milton’s Journey:

Born on July 31, 1962, in Clinton, to LeRoy and Josephine (Washington) Caldwell, Milton passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024, at Clinton Regional Hospital. Raised in Clinton, he graduated with the class of 1981 from Clinton High School, where he made a name for himself as a standout football and track star.

Milton’s passions extended far beyond the field. He had a green thumb and enjoyed working in his yard, loved the thrill of hand fishing, and could often be found at the casino or grilling out with family. His vibrant personality made him the life of the party, always ready to crack a joke and bring joy to those around him.

Cherished Memories:

Milton was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Caldwell; his sister, Vanissa Caldwell; his brother, Christopher Caldwell; and his grandparents, Mollie and Alfred Washington, who raised him with love.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter through his two sons, Tavar Davis and Harry Caldwell, both of Clinton; his daughters, Latisha Washington and her fiancé Victor Johnson of Tulsa, Sasha Washington and her partner Shay Fernandez of Moore, and Carrie Thompson-Perez and her husband Ivan of Clinton; as well as his youngest daughter, Sadaya Caldwell of Clinton.

Milton’s memory will be carried on by his siblings: Reainer (Ann) Talton and her husband Travis of Clinton, Cathy (KK) Caldwell of Clinton, Lorenzo (Mike) Caldwell of Clinton, Cledale Caldwell of Oklahoma City, Jerome Caldwell of Dallas, Texas, and Prentice (Kip) Fowlkes of Vinita, Oklahoma. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom were deeply cherished.

A Celebration of Life:

Milton’s memory will forever live on through the countless lives he touched with his warmth, humor, and vibrant spirit. We invite all those who knew and loved him to join us in celebrating his life and the joy he brought into the world.
