Raised in Clinton, Kevin was a proud graduate of Clinton High School, where he was a Red Tornado through and through, graduating in 1986. After high school, Kevin ventured to Oklahoma City, where he began a career in car sales. He worked at several dealerships, including Bob Howard, showcasing his skill and dedication in the industry. In the early 2000s, he returned to Clinton, where he found a new passion as a sports writer for the Clinton Daily News, covering the athletic achievements of Arapaho and Burns Flat Schools with enthusiasm and insight.

His vibrant spirit was evident in his many interests: he was a devoted poker player, a passionate Red Tornado fan, and an integral part of his community. His love for the game and his unwavering support for his alma mater defined his joyful and energetic personality.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lantz. He is survived by his mother, Clara Lantz of Clinton, and his brothers Richard Lantz and Mark Lantz, along with his sister-in-law Lora Lantz, all of Clinton. His memory will be lovingly cherished by his family and the many friends whose lives he touched.

Kevin’s legacy is one of dedication, passion, and a deep connection to his roots. His presence will be greatly missed, but his impact will be felt by all who knew him.
