Obituary for Jerry Duane Patterson
In Loving Memory
Jerry Duane Patterson, age 57 years, 8 months, and 16 days, was born on May 8, 1967, in Clinton, OK, to Marvin Lee “Jerry” and Charlene (Hayes) Patterson. He passed away peacefully at his home in Bethany, OK, on Friday, January 24, 2025.
Jerry was known as a fearless rebel, a character trait that endeared him to many. He grew up in the Clinton and Weatherford areas and graduated from Weatherford High School. During his younger years, he owned and operated a moving company, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit.
A man of diverse interests, Jerry had a passion for riding his motorcycle, watching old kung fu movies, and fishing. His adventurous and free-spirited nature was balanced by his devotion to his faith, attending church at the Oklahoma City Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, his sister Mellissa Repp who passed away just a couple of months ago, his brother David Patterson, and his grandparents Rollie and Opal Smith. Their memories will forever be cherished.
Jerry leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly. He is survived by his sons, Spencer Patterson and Andrew Patterson, both of McAlister, Oklahoma, and his daughter, Victoria Patterson of Woodbury, New Jersey. His sisters, Tina Patterson of Yukon, Jodie Newlun and her husband Adam of Yukon, and Michelle Repp of Yukon, Oklahoma, also mourn his passing.
A memorial service to celebrate Jerry's life will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 1, 2025 in the Arapaho Cemetery. . Arrangements are under the care of Lee Hometown Funeral Home.
Jerry's legacy of courage, love for life, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
